BT Calypso 225 Quad Cordless Answer phone With SIM Card Reader

The BT Calypso 225 DECT Quad has four handsets and an answering machine with up to 16 minutes recording time, remote access and caller information displayed during playback. Text messages can be sent and received using the predictive text and it also has eight polyphonic ring tones and a 200 name and number directory.

GAP compatible this means that you can register the handset to any other GAP Compatible phone regardless of the make and model. (Not all features will work when connected to another make or model; however you will be able to make and receive calls)

SIM card reader is a useful feature as you know it can be a very long and tedious process copying all your numbers on to you new phone. Also can be extremely annoying if you lose your mobile and all your contacts, well not anymore with the SIM card reader as you can copy all of your name and number from you SIM card on to your home phone and vice versa.

• SIM Card Reader:
  Allows user to download the phone directory from a mobile
  SIM card to the fixed line phone, enabling the convenience of the same directory

• GAP Compatible:
  GAP (Generic Access Profile) is the technology that allows digital handsets of
  different product families to communicate with one another.
• Call Screening:
  Allows you to listen to the message being left.
• Call Waiting:
  A beep occurs while a phone is engaged alerting the user to an incoming call.
  Users can choose whether to switch between callers or ignore the incoming
  call. On some phones, when used with Caller Display, the incoming
  caller's number will be displayed to allow the user to screen the call.
• Caller Display:
  When used with a Caller Display service, this feature allows you to see the
  number of the calling party. A separate quarterly fee is payable for this service
